In 1937, Peter Markos opened the first Maison De Ritz Laundry & Cleaners in Chicago, IL. An immigrant from Greece, Peter worked hard to build a business that could withstand the test of time. Eighty-six years later, The third-generation owner and operator, George Markos, has grown Maison De Ritz into an emerging player in the Healthcare & Hospitality Laundry industry.

As ownership of family laundries changed hands, we noticed a steady decline in quality. At Maison De Ritz Commercial Laundry, we saw this as an opportunity to invest in our operations and services to serve the Chicagoland market better.   We built our state-of-the-art laundry plant, so our local clients don't have to worry about stains and wrinkles.  Leave that to the experts.
